Why we exist
Why Abu Sauce started.
Nour Abusaad spent two decades in the beverage industry, and at every company event he ran into the same wall: as someone who doesn’t drink, there was nothing worth ordering. Soda. Juice. A very sweet Shirley Temple if the venue was feeling generous. It didn’t take long to notice how many other people were in the same position, for their own reasons.
Bringing new mocktails to family gatherings had always been his contribution, so the question became obvious: why not bring them everywhere else? Abu Sauce Mocktails launched in July 2022 on the assumption that it would be weddings and engagements. It became grand openings, corporate activations, influencer events and university functions — thousands of events across Chicago and Dallas, and as far afield as Canada, Tennessee, Michigan, Wisconsin and California.
People ask about the name. “Abu Sauce” plays on the family name, Abusaad. Abu is Arabic for “father of” — and slang for “the best at.” Every drink still gets served with a secret ‘Sauce’.
Abu Sauce is husband-and-wife owned and minority owned. If you book us, you are dealing with the owners: the people who plan your menu are the people who show up and pour it.

Strictly non-alcoholic
We are a non-alcoholic mobile bar and we have never served alcohol at an event. Every syrup we make is halal and alcohol-free.

Licensed and insured
Fully licensed and insured, with a customized certificate of insurance for any venue that asks for one.

On time, set up early
We arrive 30 to 60 minutes before serving time so the bar is lit, iced and pouring the moment your guests arrive.
