Who we are
Abu Sauce Mocktails (“Abu Sauce”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile mocktail catering service operating in the Chicago, Illinois metropolitan area and the Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas metroplex. This policy covers https://abu-sauce.vercel.app.
What we collect
When you submit our quote request form we collect the information you give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, event date, event location, guest count and any details you add about your event. We collect this so we can price your event and contact you about it.
We also collect standard analytics data as you browse: pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, device and browser type. This is aggregate usage information, not something we use to identify you personally.
How we use it
- To prepare and send you a quote, and to follow up on it
- To plan, staff and deliver an event you book with us
- To respond to questions you send us by phone, email or form
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to the site
- To meet our legal, accounting and insurance obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We use third-party services to run the site and our business — website hosting, a customer relationship management (CRM) system that receives quote form submissions, email, and web analytics. These providers process information on our behalf and are only permitted to use it to provide their service to us.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and, where advertising is running, for measuring ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may work less well if you do.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your quote or your booked event. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further texts.
Photography at events
We sometimes photograph our own setup and drinks at events for our website and social media. If you would prefer we did not photograph at your event, tell us in advance and we won’t. If a photo of you or your event is on this site and you want it removed, email info@abusauce.com and we’ll take it down.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@abusauce.com and we’ll take care of it. Illinois and Texas residents may have additional rights under state law; the same address works for those requests.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
